European PVC market leader Inovyn (London; www.inovyn.com) wants to reward and promote the development of new, innovative products made of the material, so the company has announced its 2022 Inovyn Awards, the third edition following events in 2016 and 2019.

The awards have four categories – with thematic orientation based on ESG standards (environmental, social, and corporate governance criteria) – for projects that present vinyl as an “innovative, sustainable, versatile, cost-efficient and safe material, thus contributing to the positive image of the vinyl industry”, according to the competition documents. The prize for each category is EUR 15,000, the company said, with four winners to be awarded in each.

The deadline for submissions is 31 May 2022, and the winners are to be announced at an awards ceremony on 20 October 2022 at Germany’s K Show (www.k-online.com) in Düsseldorf.
