On 1 March Dutch chemicals distributor IMCD (Rotterdam; www.imcdgroup.com) will start distributing Dow Europe’s (Horgen / Switzerland; www.dow.com) “Paraloid” impact modifiers and “Surecel” processing aids in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The deal will extend to the UK on 1 June 2015.

The agreement builds on the two companies’ existing collaboration, including IMCD’s recent appointment as the pan-European distributor of Dow’s “Tyrin” chlorinated PE range. The grades are used in rigid PVC and engineering thermoplastics applications and are said to offer an “excellent balance of impact efficiency, processability and melt elasticity.”
