Strengthening presence in Asia with a new Bangkok office

With a goal to increase its local footprint in Asia Pacific, speciality chemicals and food ingredient distributor IMCD (Rotterdam / The Netherlands; www.imcdgroup.com.) has recently opened a new office in Bangkok / Thailand. The Dutch company reports that it is now active in eight countries in the region, which accounts for roughly EUR 270m in annual revenues. The local staff will be focusing on the personal care and food market sectors within Thailand.
"Having gained a reputation as a highly transparent partner in Europe, we are now aiming to become a preferred distributor for the leading suppliers of speciality products in Asia Pacific," explained Albert Stevens, a vice president for the IMCD Group.
