Dutch distributor wants to acquire German competitor Küttner
According to information from the German competition authorities, Dutch distributor IMCD Group (Rotterdam; www.imcdgroup.com) is planning to acquire its smaller competitor Küttner (Römerberg / Germany; www.kuettner-gmbh.com). While IMCD confirmed that it was in talks over the proposed takeover, it emphasised that the process was on-going, and a spokeswoman declined to provide any more information to Plasteurope.com. The proposed acquisition of the German elastomeric, TPE and carbon black distributor, has meanwhile been given the green light by the authorities.
