On 1 January 2012, IMCD Deutschland (Cologne / Germany; www.imcd.de) – the German subsidiary of Rotterdam-based IMCD Group (The Netherlands; www.imcdgroup.com) – took over as exclusive distributor of Eastman Chemical’s (Kingsport, Tennessee / USA; www.eastman.com) plasticisers in Germany. As a result, IMCD Deutschland has extended its portfolio by “Eastman 168” (di ethyl hexyl terephthalate, DEHT), the “Benzoflex” range of benzoate plasticisers, the ester-based specialty plasticiser “Eastman TXIB” as well as “Eastman Triacetin”, a multiple use plasticiser for paints and adhesives.

The Cologne-based distributor said the latest additions complete its portfolio for plasticised PVC.
