Gas assist systems: Alliance with Cinpres
Husky (European HQ: PO Box 93, L-3401 Dudelange) has announced the formation of a strategic alliance with Cinpres Ltd (Tamworth, England) aimed at providing injection molders the optimal system for gas assist applications. The alliance will combine Husky's experience in the design and manufacture of injection moulding systems, especially Hot Runners, with Cinpres' expertise in the field of gas assist technology. What makes this alliance different are the following key areas of cooperation:
The two companies will jointly market a complete gas asist system and short term utilise Husky's worldwide regional sales force to sell together this technology. They will develop the technology and integrate it into existing systems. A 225 t machine will be installed in the AMC, Bolton, Canada, for moulding trials. This will offer the opportunity for molders and raw material suppliers to run mold tests, demonstrations and receive training. Future demonstrations and training will be provided in Luxembourg after completion of Husky's Technical Center in December 1994.
Husky President Robert Schad stated, "To deliver the best total solution to our customers who are experts in their field. Our new alliance with Cinpres is an example of this strategy. Customers we supply what we know best and form partnership with others." "Husky's wordwide resources will, combined with Cinpres' technology, provide our customers with optimum solutions for their moulding needs," reported Steve Jordan, Managing Director of Cinpres.
