HUNTSMAN
Jan Buberl takes over management of Performance Products division

Jan Buberl is taking over the Performance Products division at US chemical group Huntsman (The Woodlands, Texas; www.huntsman.com). He has been with Huntsman since 2014 and was most recently the deputy managing director of the Polyurethanes business unit and the PO/MTB joint venture between Huntsman and Chinese isocyanate world market leader Wanhua Chemical (Yantai, Shandong; https://en.whchem.com). 

After studying marketing in Ludwigshafen, Germany, and completing a master’s degree in business administration in the US state of North Carolina, Buberl worked for BASF from 1999 to 2014, where he held various international positions. In 2014, he worked on BASF’s strategy for North America, before moving to Huntsman.
