On 26 June 2012, the "Polyurethanes" business unit of Huntsman (The Woodlands, Texas / USA; www.huntsman.com) officially opened its new systems house in Gandaria, 25 km off the Indonesian capital Jakarta. With a focus on insulation, automotive and footwear segments, the centre is dedicated to the production of pre-polymer and polyol blends earmarked for Indonesia's MDI systems market. Huntsman said the site will also house a fully equipped technical laboratory to test and develop new products.
