New PA 6.6 facility successfully started up in China

On 29 February 2012, Chinese industrial conglomerate Huafon Group (Ruian City, Zhejiang; www.huafeng.com/en) successfully commissioned its new 40,000 t/y PA 6.6 plant at group headquarters, engineering company Uhde Inventa-Fischer (Berlin / Germany; www.uhde-inventa-fischer.com) reports. Output of the new resin facility is to go towards a range of applications, including textiles, engineering plastics and copolymers.
The German plant manufacturer provided the technology for the facility, which also produces the AH salt needed for PA 6.6 production.
