Jörg Schottek appointed CEO of Swiss distributor

On 1 July Jörg Schotteck took over as CEO of Hromatka Group (Aesch / Switzerland; www.hgmag.ch), overseeing all distribution activities of the group, which specialises in engineering thermoplastics and comprises a number of companies, including Grässlin Kunststoffe (Germany), Plastoplan (Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic), Lenorplastics (Switzerland), Aectra Plastics (Romania and Bulgaria), Polymix IP (France) as well as Sax Polymers (Switzerland, Austria and Romania).
Schotteck previously worked at Hoechst and Celanese (Ticona), and last served as spokesman for the board at Albis and Krahn Chemie. He will oversee the operative and strategic development of Hromatka together with Roger Geissberger and Roland Lohnert, with the support of Hans Hromatka and Alexander Hromatka, members of the family that owns the distributor.
