CEO Brunstam passes away unexpectedly

The long-time CEO of Swedish compounder Hexpol (Malmö; www.hexpol.com), Georg Brunstam, has passed away.
The announcement was made by the company in a short message. No details were given on the circumstances of the death or the exact date. Brunstam led Hexpol, with intervals, as chairman of the board since 2008. It was only in October 2020 that he had returned to the chief executive’s chair from his post as chairman of the board.
Peter Rosén, Hexpol’s chief financial officer, was appointed as the interim successor, according to Alf Göransson, chairman of the board.
