Dutch EPDM roofing membranes producer bought by US Carlisle group
In a deal valued at EUR 38m, Carlisle (Charlotte, North Carolina / USA; www.carlisle.com) announced that it had completed its takeover of Dutch EPDM-based roofing membranes and industrial components producer Hertalan (Kampen; www.hertalan.nl). The US diversified company said it would integrate Hertalan into its Construction Materials segment.
Hertalan’s 130 employees last generated sales of about EUR 25m. The Kampen-based company operates production facilities at its headquarters in The Netherlands as well as Baia Mare / Romania.
