Henkel (Düsseldorf / Germany; www.henkel.com) has opened a new test centre for composites in Japan. In the company's Composite Lab (www.composite-lab.com) in Yokohama, located south of Tokyo, customers will be able to develop and test composite car components as well as optimise series production processes.
This is Henkel's second test centre for automotive customers – it opened the first Composite Lab in Heidelberg / Germany last year. According to the company, it is one of the world's five largest providers of adhesives, sealants and functional coatings for the automotive industry.
