Integrated machine robot packages for European customers / Cooperation with Sepro
Injection moulding machine manufacturer Haitian (Ningbo, Zhejiang / China; www.haitian.com) will in future work more closely with robotics producer Sepro (La Roche-sur-Yon / France; www.sepro-group.com). Both companies are now offering 3- and 5-axis linear robots with integrated control for the "Haitian" and "Zhafir" injection moulding machines. An agreement was signed by the companies in August.
"Our claim is to consistently expand technology with precision and a high level of integration," says Xiang Linfa, general manager of Haitian International Germany. "The partnership with Sepro is an important step in this direction. It means that we can extend our product range with optimum solutions for automated processes, manufacturing cells and production lines."
The robotics specialist, which has been showing strong growth for several years under Sepro CEO Jean-Michel Renaudeau (see Plasteurope.com of 26.05.2017), uses the standard "Visual" control platform for Haitian's entire product range, including 3- and 5-axis robots. This reduces the amount of training for the processors and also considerably simplifies programming. With the integrated package solutions "Haitian by Sepro", the robot is integrated into the machine control system so that the operator retains access to all the basic settings and robot data.
