European headquarters to move to Germany in 2010
Haitian Europe is to transfer its headquarters to Ebermannsdorf, near Nuremberg / Germany, from Cazzago San Martino, Brescia / Italy in June 2010. Chinese injection moulder Haitian (Hong Kong / China; www.haitian.com) said its subsidiary will move closer to the heart of Europe to directly manage the main continental market. It will share its new home town of Ebermannsdorf with electric injection moulding machine producer Zhafir Plastics Machinery (www.zhafir.com), which is wholly owned by Haitian.
Eric Taveau, general manager of Haitian Europe, said the company considers Germany as its largest and most important European market. “The advantage of a position as close as possible to our clients is evident,” he said. “The proximity of Zhafir Plastics Machinery with its engineers, designers and production capacity for assembly of presses, will improve our responsiveness to market changes, as well as offering logistics benefits.”
The company’s range of all-electric “Venus” presses will be exhibited at "K 2010" (Messe Düsseldorf / Germany; www.messe-duesseldorf.com) and will be displayed to customers during an open house scheduled for the end of November 2010 in the new Ebermannsdorf facility.
