GROUPE RGF
Ownership change for injection moulding group / International presence to be stepped up
With the support of a number of investment companies, Pascal Daviet, the new managing partner, has acquired the injection moulding company Groupe RGF (Pratz / France; www.groupergf-plastique.com). Joel Beraldin, the sole owner and director to date, has only a minority stake in the new company. Daviet plans to expand the company further, adding new products and entering new markets.
The small group achieved annual sales of a good EUR 20m last year, divided up over five companies. RGF currently operates five facilities, four of which are in France and the Plastic-Crisana subsidiary in Romania. With a total of 70 machines, the group processes primarily engineering and high-performance plastics, including PA, PPA, PSU, ABS and PMMA – with glass and carbon fibre reinforcement or fluorination in some cases. Its process portfolio includes the overmoulding of composite and metal parts, together with multicomponent injection moulding. The company brought a 2,000 m² extension into operation at its main plant at the end of 2015.
Alongside Daviet and Beraldin, the shareholders include a subsidiary of the Banque Cantonale de Genève, French state-owned investment firm Bpifrance and Omnes Capital.
