Neveon unit to add Czech production site for moulded foam
Austria’s Neveon (Kremsmünster; www.neveon.com) says it will boost capacity for moulded foam manufacturing in the Czech Republic but did not provide data on current or expected production in the country.

The company, a unit of Austrian foam maker and plastics processor Greiner (Kremsmünster; www.greiner.com), said it has purchased a site for the expansion in the Czech town of Valašské Meziříčí, and the area includes 18,700 m² for production and office space. Along with manufacturing operations, plans foresee the creation of a competence centre for moulded foam at the facility, the company said.

In early 2021, Greiner combined six divisions to create Neveon (see Plasteurope.com of 12.02.2021). The unit said it operates in 18 countries and noted that in the 2020 financial year, it achieved sales revenues of more than EUR 479m and employed a workforce of more than 3,400.
