Novel "top cup" holds sauce flavour and forms lid

Greiner Packaging (Kremsmünster / Austria; www.greiner-gpi.com) has developed a new packaging concept for the Köket Panna range of sauces from Sweden´s Arla Foods Ingredients (Stockholm; www.arlafoods.com). Two cups in a common wrapping contain the ingredients, which are mixed to prepare the sauce. The first is a sleeved 250 ml PP cup that holds whipped cream, the basis for the sauce, while a second 60 ml cup contains the flavouring for the sauce and is closed with an aluminium lid. This second cup is termed the "top cup" and also serves as a lid for the main cup.
