Austria’s Greiner Bio-One (GBO, Kremsmünster; www.greinerbioone.com) has broken ground on a project that will nearly triple office space at its headquarters in Kremsmünster. The work is scheduled to take 18 months, with the building ready for its staff of nearly 185 employees to move into in August 2017.
Rainer Perneker, CEO of Greiner Bio-One International, said the expansion would allow departments currently spread all over the site, or even at other locations, to be organised within a single building. This will simplify and improve workflows and further enhance the division’s potential for future growth, the company said.
Greiner Bio-One International has 1,890 employees across 23 locations around the world. It generated revenue of EUR 427m in 2015.
