On 1 August 2019, Thorsten Seehars will become Grammer's (Amberg / Germany; www.grammer.com) next CEO. The decision was made at the company's supervisory board meeting on 25 April. He will replace Hartmut Müller. Seehars is currently a member of the management board of the commercial vehicles segment at German brake systems manufacturer Knorr-Bremse (Munich; www.knorr-bremse.com).

Müller resigned in September 2018 along with fellow board members CFO Gérard Cordonnier and COO Manfred Pretscher – see Plasteurope.com of 27.09.2018. Pretscher has assumed the functions of interim CEO and CFO and will become an ordinary member of the executive board as of 1 August. Earlier in spring 2019, the supervisory board appointed Jens Öhlenschläger as COO and Jurate Keblyte as CFO.
