Purchase of competitor Reum wrapped up
At the end of 2015, after the authorities had given their all-clear, automotive supplier Grammer (Amberg / Germany; www.grammer.com) completed its purchase of competitor Reum (Hardheim / Germany; www.reum.com) – for previous coverage, see Plasteurope.com of 29.10.2015. Grammer paid EUR 50m for the businesses it acquired, Reum Kunststoff- und Metalltechnik and Reum Polska (Sosnowiec / Poland). Sellers were HTP Investments (Goes / The Netherlands; www.htp-investments.com) as well as Palatium Beteiligungsgesellschaft.
Reum develops and produces high-quality metal and plastic blends, kinematic interior components and surface finishings for the automotive industry. The company’s 950 employees posted sales of about EUR 130m in 2014.
