GE PLASTICS
Structured Products: Globally uniform trade name for thermoplastic sheet
The sheet products formerly sold by GE Structured Products (Europe: PO Box 117, NL-4600 Bergen op Zoom) under the trade name "Impax" are now available under the globally uniform designation "Gepax". No changes have been made to the material or processing properties. These opaque polycarbonate sheet products are suitable for a wide range of thermoforming applications and have been specially developed to meet stringent industrial requirements. Typical applications include luggage containers for airports and automatic transport systems, such as those used to transport crankshafts and gearbox casings on automotive assembly lines. GE Plastics stresses that the material offers the advantage of considerable weight savings compared with metal parts.

GE Structured Products claims to be one of the world's leading suppliers of advanced engineering plastics for sheet and film intermediates within GE Plastics.
