GEA PROCOMAC
Italian machinery producer installs India's first ever aseptic filling line for PET milk bottles
Italian aseptic filling lines producer GEA Procomac (Sala Baganza; www.procomac.it) has landed a new order for the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of one of its “ECOSpin” blow moulding lines for low acid products, capable of turning out 30,000 x 200 ml PET bottles per hour. The buyer is India’s Gujarat Co-op Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF, Gujarat / India; www.amul.com).

The two companies did not specify the cost of the new line nor when it is supposed to start up. It will, however, reportedly be India’s first ever aseptic filling line for milk products in PET bottles.
