Relocation of plastic caps production to Czech Republic complete / Further expansion in Písek

The Fröhlich Plastics Group (FPG, Sollstedt / Germany; www.f-plast.com) is investing in the further expansion of its plant in Písek / Czech Republic. After having relocated its caps production, which the company had taken over in 2016 from former EDC in Hannover / Germany. After the acquisition of additional machines, the segment is expected to move to new premises in the fourth quarter of 2017. “With the current development in the area of caps, we are ahead of our planning, as predicted last year before the takeover,” says managing partner Michael Fröhlich, who is aiming to expand the company's customer base.
For customers from the chemistry, food, medicine and photo development segments, Fröhlich Plastics produced more than 15m HDPE caps in the early months of 2017. The manufacturer of technical plastic parts for the automotive, packaging, medical technology, aerospace and E&E industries, with 300 employees at locations in Germany, the Czech Republic and China, generated an annual turnover of EUR 30m.
