French processors association appoints Philippe Pellerin as head of innovation

Philippe Pellerin is the new vice president of innovation at the French processors association Fédération de la Plasturgie et des Composites (FEP, Paris / France; www.laplasturgie.fr). The mechanical engineer, who has been active in the plastics sector for 30 years, is currently the CEO of the French Bericap subsidiary and also on the board of directors at the technology centre Innovation Plasturgie Composites (IPC, Bellignat / France; www.poleplasturgie.net).
In particular, Pellerin wants to apply interdisciplinary approaches and promote synergies between the two pillars of the association – plastics processing and the composites sector. He is also concerned with the ecological components of the industry, including the topics of lightweight construction, greenhouse gas emission and recycling.
