Flooring producer Forbo (Baar / Switzerland; www.forbo.com) is lifting output of flexible vinyl designer flooring at its plant in Coevorden / The Netherlands. The 3m m² expansion, work on which already began in 2015, is expected to be completed by the end of this year. The investment will almost double the current site’s capacity of 3.5m m². Forbo last raised output at Coevorden in 2013.

The company has already commissioned a packaging line, which it recently installed at the site. Both measures apparently account for a significant part of the total investment made in Forbo’s Flooring Systems in 2015, which the company pegged at CHF 30.5m (about EUR 27.7m).
