FERROMATIK MILACRON
Hastek to assume sales responsibilities in Turkey / New country head for Swiss activities
Despite a rather slack economy in Turkey, Ferromatik Milacron Europe (Malterdingen / Germany; www.ferromatik.com), a subsidiary of the US-based Milacron Group (Cincinnati, Ohio; www.milacron.com), is counting on strong growth in the mid-term in the country's injection moulding market. To ensure an effective strategy locally, the injection moulding manufacturer has welcomed a new partner. Hastek Plastic Systems (Istanbul / Turkey; www.hastek.com.tr) is now representing Ferromatik Milacron‘s entire portfolio. As a subsidiary of the country’s first injection moulding manufacturer, Hasmak (Istanbul; www.hasmak.com.tr), Hastek has been active in the Turkish plastic machinery market for more than 15 years.
Hastek provides entire solutions for injection moulding technology, offering a comprehensive technical after-sales service. The company’s sales and customer service centre in Istanbul employs 35 individuals with a 1,500 m² showroom and a 2,000 m² warehouse, dedicated to injection moulding machinery and peripheral equipment. Three additional offices in Izmir, Bursa and Konya are staffed with a total of five service employees to service key industrial hubs across the country.
