FERROMATIK MILACRON
Largest single order from Russia / Plastics machinery for DM 30m
Ferromatik Milacron has received its largest single order for plastics manufacturing machinery that the company has ever had from the Joint-venture company Agrisovgaz, a Russian manufacturer of ready-for-use green house systems. The order, the financing for which has been arranged at a fixed interest rate in Germany, is for DM 30m. "We are very satisfied to have been able to finalize this highly significant business deal in Europe against such intense international competition" reported Harold Faig, Vice-President of the Plastics Machinery Group of Cincinnati Milacron, USA. Three factors were crucial for the successful contract; the exceptional technical characteristics of the "Vista" injection moulding machine, the continuing recognition of the quality and good reputation of the extruder factory in Austria and the competence of the Ferromatik Milacron company in Germany. The order is a further success for the Plastics Machinery Group from Cincinnati Milacron, which reports record sales and orders for three years in a row.
The Russian plant will be used for the extrusion of pipes and injection moulding of fittings and other components for the sprinkler/irrigation systems. The complete system consists of "Vista" injection moulding machines which will be built in the USA and extrusion systems manufactured in Austria as well as injection moulds, automatic takeoff equipment as well as additional equipment for testing, control, water preparation and cooling. The delivery of the complete system to the Agrisovgaz site in Shatsk, Russia, is scheduled for the middle of next year.
