European distribution jv with Mitsui
Fanuc (Oshino-mura / Japan; www.fanuc.com) and Mitsui & Co have founded a 50:50 distribution joint venture for Europe, Fanuc Roboshot Europe (Neuhausen / Germany). Yoshihiro Hashimoto is general manager of the company that will handle distribution and service for Fanuc´s "Roboshot" all-electric injection moulding machinery. Plans also are to establish subsidiaries near Lyon / France and Birmingham / UK, as part of a Europe-wide push in sales and service.
