The fourth "3D Print" 2017 exhibition (www.3dprint-exhibition.com), dedicated to additive manufacturing and organised by Idice (Oyonnax / France), will be held from 13 - 16 June in Lyon / France, jointly with the “fip solution plastique” trade fair (www.f-i-p.com; see also Plasteurope.com of 16.02.2017). 3D Print, held at Eurexpo Lyon, covers the industrial chain and the programme will have 90 speakers. Ansys, Binc Industries, Cadvision, Canon, Faro, Hewlett Packard, Polyrepro and Zeiss are among the many companies attending. There will be topics covering technologies, materials (including plastics and composites), machinery and software.
According to a recent study by US-based Allied Market Research (Portland, Oregon; www.alliedmarketresearch.com), the global 3D printing market is expected to increase approximately 18% annually to 2022, reaching USD 1.87 bn – see Plasteurope.com of 02.01.2017 –, with plastics (including ABS, PLA, PA, PET and photopolymers) expected to remain the most widely used printing materials.
