The 21st International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing “Plastpol” will be held in Kielce / Poland from 23-26 May 2017. Organiser Targi Kielce (www.targikielce.pl) expects more than 18,000 visitors from 32 countries, with about 800 exhibitors presenting trends in plastic and rubber processing over an area of 32,000 m².
Plastpol is the leading plastics trade fair for central and eastern Europe. The four-day conference programme includes topics on mould making, industrial design, packaging and recycling.
According to the 2016 analysis from PlasticsEurope, the demand for plastic in Poland has been steadily growing for several years now. Despite the crisis in 2008/09, the Polish plastics sector is experiencing stable growth. Currently, the country is the sixth largest consumer of polymers in the EU plastics market, although the local raw materials supply is inadequate (see Plasteurope.com of 17.01.2017).
