Casablanca hosts 5th “Plast expo 2013” 19-22 June
In a few short weeks, the 5th “Plast expo” (Morocco; www.plast-expo.com) kicks off in Casablanca,19-22 June 2013. concentrates on the topics of plastics, rubber, composites, packaging and conditioning trade fair for Morocco and North Africa.
The spotlight will be on Spain this time around and will be represented by more than 15 companies. In addition, the event will have more than 146 exhibitors from 19 countries presenting. Local organiser Moroccan Plastics Association FMP (Casablanca / Morocco; www.fmplasturgie.com/) expect more than 2,800 visitors. They are pleased to announce that for the first time, nine players from the Portuguese market, focusing on injection moulding, recycling machinery and raw materials, will participate as well as Qatar with 12 plastics products exporters in attendance.
With heavy investment being made in the North African plastics and packaging industry along with a huge increase in demand for plastics and chemical products, the regional exhibition continues to grow and gain in importance. The biennial Moroccan event alternates hosting duties with neighbour Algeria for this annual North African plastics industry exhibition and in 2014 it will be held in Algiers.
