Poland: 17,000 visitors attend “Plastpol”
This year's Plastpol, held in Kielce, Poland 7-10 May, ended with roughly 17,000 visitors attending the 4-day event according to fair organiser Targi Kielce (www.targikielce.pl). As was the case in 2012, the daily traffic of visitors remained constant over the course of the exhibition – see Plasteurope.com from 13.06.2012.
In years when the global exhibition "K" is held in Duesseldorf, Germany such as this year when the huge trade show takes place from 16-23 October (www.k-online.de), the Polish hosts worry that it will impact the number of companies participating at their event, which generally takes place in the spring each year. In 2010, the last year K was held, Plastpol registered fewer participants. This was not the case this year.
The organisers have also announced that next year's Plastpol, the 18 edition, will be held from 27-30 May in Kielce.
