Poland: More than 17,000 visitors attend “Plastpol 2012” / Exhibitor number exceeds 700
More than 17,000 visitors flocked to this year’s "Plastpol" (www.targikielce.pl) industry fair, held from 29 May to 1 June 2012 in Kielce / Poland – a similar number as last year (see also Plasteurope.com of 20.02.2012). However, exhibitor numbers were up over 2011, with more than 700 companies showcasing their goods, many of them first-time exhibitors, according to Andrzej Mochon, board president of organiser Targi Kielce.
With more than half the visitors from abroad, Plastpol is Poland’s most international trade fair, Mochon said, adding that the event attracted a lot of large companies from Turkey, Russia, Korea, Austria and Hungary, among others. He also pointed out that this year’s fair attracted a much larger group of machinery producers aside from distributors and resins producers.
