From 15 to 17 May 2012, "Plastex Caspian 2012", the second Caspian International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition, will take place in Baku / Azerbaijan. The exhibition addresses plastics and rubber manufacturers from all industry sectors, including construction, furniture, automotive and household appliances, among others.

The fair, which is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, will address a vast variety of themes, such as technology and hardware for the production and processing of plastics and rubber, blow-moulding machinery and extrusion devices.

The list of exhibitors includes companies like Turkish petrochemical group Petkim (Aliaga; www.petkim.com.tr), German-based Textima (Berlin; www.textima.de) and Zeppelin Silos & Systems (Friedrichshafen / Germany; www.zeppelin-industry.com). The event is co-organised by GiMA International Exhibition Group (Hamburg / Germany; www.gima.de) and its Turkish pendant EUF.
