From 22-24 November 2011, the city of Budapest / Hungary will host the world’s first “Ceplast” (www.ceplast.eu) Central European Plastics and Rubber Exhibition. The three-day event will provide a meeting platform for regional raw material and plastics machinery producers, processors and their clientele, according to organisers Targi Kielce (Kielce / Poland; www.targikielce.pl) and market researcher Eastern and Central European Business Development (ECEBD, Tortola / British Virgin Islands; www.ecebd.com).

So far, almost 100 exhibitors have signed up for the debut event, which organisers classify as the Hungarian edition of Poland’s industry fair “Plastpol” – see also Plasteurope.com of 09.06.2011. Key foci include the automotive and E&E industries, food and pharmaceutical packaging, the building and construction market as well as other consumer industries.

Visitors to the fair will also be able to attend the “Second Central and Eastern European Plastic Converter Forum”, held on 22 and 23 November 2011. The conference addresses the question of how the region’s plastics processors can increase added values and profits.
