Biesterfeld Plastic has extended its pan-European distribution agreement for “Santoprene” TPVs and “Vistamaxx” speciality elastomers from ExxonMobil Chemical (Baytown, Texas / USA; www.exxonmobilchemical.com) to include Turkey and the Middle-East / Africa region. The arrangement became effective on 1 July 2009.

The existing agreement between ExxonMobil Chemical and its former local distributor will expire at the end of 2009. Biesterfeld, which also distributes ExxonMobil’s “Exxtral” PP compounds in several countries, will use its joint venture company Biesterfeld Plastik Ticaret (Istanbul / Turkey) and the service centre it established in 2008 in Tunis / Tunisia to service the two new geographical markets.
