Higher prices for “Plexiglas” and “Deglas” semi-finished products
On 1 October, Evonik (Essen / Germany; www.evonik.com) plans to raise the price of its PMMA semi-finished products by 6%. The increase will apply to its “Plexiglas” and “Deglas” sheets, blocks, tubes and rods, as well as its “Plexiglas” multi-skin and corrugated sheets.
Evonik said the increase comes in response to “the ongoing considerable rise in the cost of upstream products, energy and salaries.”
