PRC Europe 2024 to be held in Amsterdam / Focus on downstream transformation in the Petchem sector
Organiser BGS Group (London; https://bgs.group) has announced that its 2024 edition of the Petrochemical and Refining Congress – Europe (PRC Europe; https://sh.bgs.group/prceurope2024) will take place in Amsterdam from 13 to 15 May.

As part of the congress, industry players plan to define the strategies and technological perspectives to lead downstream transformation. Regional partners for the event include BASF, Fluor, Technip Energies, Bayernoil, and Sabic.
The topics expected to be in focus this year are:
- Catalysts and inhibitors of defossilisation
- Fuels of the future
- Production of advanced petrochemical products
- Pathways to decarbonisation and visible results
- The role of CCUS (circularity, carbon capture, utilisation, and storage) in deep decarbonisation
- Clean hydrogen for production processes
