“Carbon Dioxide as Feedstock for Fuels, Chemistry and Polymers” conference in Cologne in March

The eighth edition of nova-Institut’s (Hürth / Germany; www.nova-institut.de) conference on CO2 as feedstocks for fuels, chemistry and polymers will be held in Cologne / Germany from 24-25 March 2020. Around 200 international experts on carbon capture and utilisation (CCU) as well as 20 exhibitors are expected to attend the event.
At the event, various players in the industry will showcase the latest innovations that use carbon dioxide as a feedstock. Topics of the sessions include the political framework, renewable energy and hydrogen production, carbon capture, fuels for transport and aviation, chemicals, polymers as well as mineralisation and advanced technologies for CO2 utilisation. On 23 March 2020, the same location will host the first “European Summit on CO2-based Aviation Fuels”, where decision makers in industry, politics and organisations are invited to discuss sustainable strategies and solutions for cleaner air transport. Topics include policy and strategy, CCU fuels and power-to-liquid technologies as well as sustainable aviation. A detailed programme is available here.
