The “Sixth Pagev International Plastic Packaging Congress” (www.turkishpic.com/plastik) organised by Turkey’s plastics industry association Pagev (Istanbul; www.pagev.org.tr) is taking place on 22 October 2019 in Istanbul. Representatives from public authorities, international organisations, manufacturers and academia will come together, with a focus on threats and opportunities in plastic packaging. The conference will be a platform to discuss feedstock and material markets, new technologies and innovations, smart packaging, design and brand-building, sustainability and recycling, as well as regional and global legislation.
