Two new plastic pipes conferences launched in South Africa and China / PPCA-sponsored events to take place in autumn 2017
The Plastic Pipes Conference Association (PPCA; www.plasticpipesconference.com) is launching two spin-off events and exhibitions in 2017. The first will take place in Johannesburg / South Africa from 4-5 September 2017. Organised in collaboration with the Southern African Plastic Pipe Manufacturers Association (SAPPMA, Midrand / South Africa; www.sappma.co.za), the conference will be held together with the latter’s annual “Pipes” event, scheduled for 8 September. Since the international plastic pipes conference will feature 10 papers from the 2016 Berlin / Germany-based event, SAPPMA has extended this year’s “Pipes” exhibition to two days.
The second spin-off event will be held in Hangzhou / China from 26-27 October 2017. The local supporting partner will be the China Plastics Piping Association (PPIA, Beijing / China; www.ppia-china.com). Further details will be provided by PPIA in due time.
PPCA is made up of four separate organisations. They are PE100+ (www.pe100plus.com), the Plastics Pipes Institute (PPI, Irving, Texas / USA; www.plasticpipe.org), PVC4Pipes (Brussels / Belgium; www.pvc4pipes.com) and the European Plastic Pipes and Fittings Association (TEPPFA, Brussels; www.teppfa.eu).
