“Sustainability in Packaging Europe” conference to take place in Barcelona in early November
The city of Barcelona / Spain will play host to the upcoming “Sustainability in Packaging Europe” conference (www.sustainability-in-packaging.com/europe). Organised by Smithers Pira (Leatherhead / UK; www.smitherspira.com), the two-day event will be held on 8-10 November, and includes a number of sessions on the Circular Economy and packaging sustainability, consumer trends and insights, retailers’ and brand owners’ perspectives, converters’ standpoint, packaging materials as well as recycling and waste management.
Speakers will come from both industry and associations, including from the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, Europen, Nestlé, Marks & Spencer, Coca-Cola, Ikea, Amcor, Total, Procter & Gamble and Dow.
