17th GEPET seminar to take place in Venice next week / High-level conference to address latest developments and challenges facing the PET chain
The seventeenth “Greater Europe PET Resin Trade, Applications & Recycling” (GEPET) seminar (www.cmtevents.com/main.aspx?ev=160508&pu=265061) will be held this year in Venice / Italy on 9 and 10 May. Speakers at the two-day event, organised by the Centre for Management Technology (CMT, Singapore; www.cmtevents.com), will focus their presentations on the EU's latest Circular Economy Package, sustainable packaging and advances in PET technologies. The conference itself will take place on 10 May and be preceded by a networking cocktail reception and dinner.
With a number of renowned industry giants presenting – including San Pellegrino, M&S, P&G, Migros and Equipolymers, among others – the event covers the entire PET value chain. Presentations will address topics such as sustainability efforts, PET markets and prices, direct digital printing and its impact on the market, PET aerosol cans as well as ways of converting PET waste into new thermosetting resins.
