“Helsinki Chemicals Forum” to take place in Finnish capital in May / Seminar held in conjunction with ECHA Stakeholders' Day
The “Helsinki Chemicals Forum” (http://helsinkicf.eu) on the current and relevant issues in chemical management and safety will be held at the Helsinki fairgrounds on 28 and 29 May this year, in conjunction with the European Chemicals Agency’s (ECHA, Helsinki; http://echa.europa.eu) Tenth Stakeholders’ Day Conference, held in the Finnish capital on 27 May 2015.
The two-day event will address a range of issues, from REACH to a globally harmonised system on classification and labelling, how to improve communications in the supply chain, and how TTIP will impact REACH. In addition, participants have the option of booking a separate afternoon session called “The Chemical Watch Workshop”. Aside from company representatives, speakers will come from a range of public institutions, including European organisations and universities.
The event is organised by the Chemicals Forum Association in cooperation with ECHA, the European Commission, the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic, Brussels / Belgium; www.cefic.org) and the Finnish government.
