“Food Contact Plastics Seminar” to be held in Brussels in April
This year’s “Food Contact Plastics Seminar”, organised by Polymer Comply Europe (Brussels / Belgium; www.polymercomplyeurope.eu) and European Plastics Converters (EuPC, Brussels; www.plasticsconverters.eu) will focus on managing product safety in a global environment. The two-day event will be held in Brussels / Belgium on 23 and 24 April. Aimed at updating those active in the plastics food packaging industry, key topic will be current legislation, specifically the role of the European regulatory system in a globalised setting, understanding the differences between EU and other global regulations as well as requirements for imports.

Other topics at this year’s event include the implementation of food contact recycling plastics regulation 2008/282 as well as the assessment of non-intentionally added substances. A range of case studies will also be presented.
