First composites summit “Turk Kompozit 2013” in Istanbul
The Turkish Composites Manufacturers Association (TCMA, Istanbul; www.turk-kompozit.org/en) is hosting its inaugural three-day "Turk Kompozit 2013" from 3-5 October in Istanbul. According to TCMA, the Turkish composites business sector is currently one of the ten largest in Europe, having grown roughly 10% in the last few years – see also Plasteurope.com from 24.08.2012.
The composites summit covers the Turkish market with technical seminars, product showcases, product demonstrations focusing on manufacturing, processing and specific applications in the composite industry. In addition, the national industry will be presenting the latest technological innovations, improvements in raw materials such as resins, fabrics, thermosets, thermoplastics and additives as well as semi-finished products, intermediate and finished products, processing technologies, machines, equipment, construction, and simulation services. Admission is free of charge to visitors and simultaneous translation will be provided.
Founded in 2005, TCMA, a non-profit organisation, represents Turkish composite industry producers of raw materials, semi-finished, intermediate, and finished products as well as suppliers and research institutions.
Registration for showcase participation is through 1 August.
