“Plastic Packaging Saudi Arabia 2011”
In an effort to shed further light on the packaging industry among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) members, the International Quality and Productivity Center (IQPC, New York, New York / USA; www.iqpc.com) is organising a two-day conference in Riyadh / Saudi Arabia from 20-23 February.
Held against the backdrop of rising per capita plastics consumption, packaging is one of the fastest growing segments within the GCC’s plastics industry. Overall, IQPC predicts, 3m t of additional polypropylene capacity are scheduled to come on stream in the region in the next few years, as a result of which “the Middle East region will emerge as the largest exporter of polypropylene in the world”. Saudi Arabia is a driving force behind this increase.
The event will include presentations by keynote industry players, who will discuss packaging challenges and solutions in the Saudi Arabian and the GCC markets. For further information and to register, contact IQPC, Tel: +971 4374 8270, E-Mail: enquiry@iqpc.com
