50 years of foam at Kremsmünster / Audiotec acoustic segment celebrates 25th anniversary
Eurofoam (Vienna / Austria; www.euro-foam.com), which claims to be Europe´s leading foam manufacturer, celebrated the 50th anniversary of foam production at its Kremsmünster / Austria site on 2 June 2006. Speaking at the festivities, Manfred Marchgraber, managing director of the 50:50 joint venture of Greiner and Recticel, said the combination of experience, constant further development and innovative products has provided the basis for success over the years.

The combined Eurofoam/Greiner/Recticel group manufactures precision-cut blanks, customised foams, advanced specialty foams and solutions for noise insulation and packaging at more than 50 plants in 20 countries. The Audiotec segment, centred around Linz / Austria and specialising in solutions for sound insulation and acoustics, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this month. The business´s high-performance technical foams are used in the interior cabins of agricultural vehicles and heavy construction machinery as well as in the machinery manufacturing and plant engineering sectors.
