European Masterbatchers and Compounders (EuMBC, Brussels / Belgium; www.compounders.eu), a sub-group of European Plastics Converters (EuPC, Brussels; www.eupc.org), is holding its annual conference on 16 May 2019 in Brussels. At the event, key speakers from organisations such as Aimplas, Baerlocher, BSEF, EBRC Consulting, ECHA and the European Commission will discuss the impact of the latest EU regulations and industry developments on masterbatchers and compounders.
EuMBC has published its draft programme for the conference. Topics include REACH regulation for intentionally added microplastics – see Plasteurope.com of 01.02.2019 – as well as implications of Brexit for the industry, BSEF’s “Voluntary Emission Control Action Programme” (VECAP), the process of reporting hazardous mixtures, regulatory and technical challenges for nanomaterials, TiO2 and measures to reduce dust exposure and, finally, a new polyolefin stabilisation concept.
EuMBC members can attend the conference free of charge, for non-members the fee is EUR 240. To register for the event, click here. For more information on the annual EuMBC conference, click here.
